Clear All Auth Data

⚠️ WARNING ⚠️

This will permanently delete ALL authentication data including:

  • All users
  • All user profiles
  • All organizations
  • All prompts
  • All sessions
  • All auth accounts (GitHub, Google connections)

How to Clear All Auth Data

  1. Go to the Convex Dashboard
  2. Navigate to your project (standing-bird-371)
  3. Go to the "Functions" tab
  4. Find clearAuthData:clearAllAuthData
  5. Click "Run Function"
  6. Click "Run" to execute (no arguments needed)

Alternative: Using the Convex CLI

cd tools/convex
npx convex run clearAuthData:clearAllAuthData

What Gets Deleted

  • users - All user accounts
  • userProfiles - All app-specific user profiles
  • organizations - All organizations
  • organizationMembers - All organization memberships
  • prompts - All saved prompts
  • promptVersions - All prompt version history
  • promptUsage - All prompt usage statistics
  • authSessions - All active sessions
  • authAccounts - All OAuth connections
  • authVerificationCodes - All verification codes
  • authRefreshTokens - All refresh tokens

After Clearing

You'll need to:

  1. Sign up again with new accounts
  2. Recreate any test data you need
  3. Re-establish OAuth connections if needed

Safety

This mutation only works in development mode. It will throw an error if you try to run it in production.
